Always liked this diner, staff is friendly, I always buy the Balboa sandwich with a side of fries for lunch. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner with friends or co-workers.

Honestly not a bad thing to say about this diner. Great service, decent diner food, and all around friendly staff. The burger, the sandwiches and the fries were all spot on diner food. The side of gravy for my fries was super tasty, too. As we were leaving I was checking out the baked goods (because--diner?? Hello yumminess!) and the owner offered me a complimentary cookie. And not a small one either--it was the size of my face. Don't know if it tastes good but that service!!! I'd return for sure.

I can be a go, go, go type person at times, though decided to sit down with my to-go breakfast order at a two-seater booth, and enjoy my breakfast sandwich. I don't always order breakfast out, it may appear so, but I don't. So for this caloric breakfast splurge, I chose a BEC with one egg, but received two eggs instead. No complaints there. The sandwich was thick, with a good ratio of cheese and bacon. The diner was nice and clean. Server/order taker was pleasant. Plus politely asked if I'd like a cup of coffee which I declined. Savored my thick, whole wheat toasted with butter, $5.00 BEC. Left a decent tip and reminded myself that I need to take the time to slow down and enjoy these little moments. ツ

A wonderful little diner with excellent food and friendly service. It looks like they are hurting a little due to the pandemic so, please patronize if you are able. We ordered the turkey dinner, the cheese ravioli and a grilled Reuben. Entrees included soup or salad and bread. It was delicious and we left spending $60.

This is a staple in the community -- solid food, large portions, cozy atmosphere. The service was pretty average. I wish my water was refilled a bit more often, but the environment is very relaxed; we were able to eat and then sit for a bit without staff rushing us out (which really goes a long way). I think the quality here is a bit higher than a typical diner; it's definitely a great place to go for a quick bite with a ton of options. Chocolate Milkshake - For $7, it's a little on the smaller side, but it is a great sweet treat. Very chocolatey and smooth, this was really tasty. London Broil Burger - This burger was large! All together, the dish was sizable and left me stuffed. This dish features a steak burger with lots of cheese and mushrooms. The waffle fries were crispy and fluffy on the inside. My only suggestion would be to try to consider the degree of "doneness"; I was asked which level I wanted (to which I answered medium), and the steak was clearly well-done. Though a good burger, this would have been even better. Price: 3/5 Quality: 3/5 Quantity: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

It's your standard diner food. The service is good and the parking is decent. I've been here many times for breakfast and lunch. Food is always cooked well and staff is friendly. I got a wonderful Greek salad with grilled chicken to go. It didn't disappoint. Could have used some pita bread and it was a bit overpriced ($16.00+) for a salad on south Yonkers--not the best location.
